Our manufacturing facilities in Samutprakarn province comprise of 3 branches:  The Phrapradaeng Factory or TYE-P , The Wat Khae Factory or TYE-W and The Suvarnabhumi Factory or TYE-S ... in operation for over 50 years, and centrally located in Thailand’s manufacturing industrial area.

Our products, generally known as “Electric Wire and Cable“, actually consist of variety products, range from power transmission wire and cable, low~high power distribution cable to the control cable, Instrumentation cable, etc. Thai-Yazaki Electric Wire not only produces these general electric wire and cable but keeps focus on creating new design to meet the various needs of our customers. HISTORY

1963

Operations begin at Prapradaeng Factory in SamutPrakan (4,006 m2. building area on a 52,000 m2. site). Thai Yazaki Mahaguna Textile Co., Ltd. (presently Thai Arrow Products) established. (Capitalized at 2.5 million Bahts.) The King and Queen of Thailand visit Japan.

1964

Second phase of operation plan entered: Power cable production. The Crown Prince and Princess of Japan visit Thailand

1967

Thai Yazaki Mahaguna Aluminum Wire Co., Ltd. established (Capitalized at 3 million Bahts.) Production of non-woven fabric begins. Formation of ASEAN

1973

Minimum daily wage law enacted. Thai Yazaki Electric Wire Co.,Ltd. capital raised to 35 million Bahts.

1974

Minimum daily wage becomes 20 Bahts. Thai Yazaki Electric Wire Co.,Ltd. Prapradaeng Factory rebuilds facilities (26,000 m2. building area on a 73,200 m2. site) First generation copper rod production equipment installed. Population of Thailand tops 41

Aluminum Rod Production Inauguration

Thai Metal Processing Co., Ltd. established. Capitalized at one million Bahts. To produce copper rod by the Southwire Continuous Rod (SCR)

Thai Metal Processing Co.,Ltd. capital raised to 150 million Bahts.

Thai Yazaki Electric Wire Co., Ltd (Wat-Kae branch) established (3,200 m2. building area on a 20,000m2. site). Warehousing and Established Vinyl Tape Production Inauguration at TAP-C
